PERSONALITY
the protector
the protector
Quiet, thoughtful, scholarly, a romantic at heart. The bookworm of his family. To survive the streets, he grew tough, put up walls, and did what he needed to do to survive, although it slowly destroyed him, especially when he couldn't save the people he cared about.
He's protective and thoughtful, with a comforting presence and a warm smile. There's a deep sadness inside his soul, a longing for a home that no longer exists.

APPEARENCE
Tall, with broad shoulders and a lithe build. Long, dark hair, always pulled back into a bun or a braid to keep it out of his face.
Brown eyes, often obscured by his reading glasses, a strong jawline, and a refined face. He tends to wear a lot of browns and greys, comfortable sweaters, and tailored jackets. Always found with a book and his notebook with ink stains on his hands.

WRITING: Third person present tense, brackets preferred. I can match styles, though.
BACKTAGGING: Absolutely, as long as there is interest. I'm faster with texting/epistolary tags, and try to get back to those daily or every couple of days (and can boomerang those much easier). Longer tags, either in bracket or prose form, can take a few days for me to get back to.
THREADHOPPING: If it's relevant.
PRIVATE FILTERS: Absolutely.
SENSITIVE TOPICS: None for me. Let me know what topics to avoid. Grey's history includes assassinations, murder, child endangerment, living on the streets, poverty, etc.
SMUT: With build-up, absolutely good to write smut.
CONFLICT: Happy to thread out arguments and differing views on life and antagonistic CR.
VIOLENCE: I'm bad at writing fights but I will try. Also happy to handwave/fade to black with fights. Injuries are great, and dealing with the aftermath.
BADMOUTHING: He generally won't— he was raised to be polite— but badmouthing him is fine.
